SUPPORT GREECE!

The situation in Greece, caused by the economic crisis, isn't becomes better. On the contrary, the country is close to crossing the line and literally threatening survival of thousands of people. All of us, who have endured similar dramatic developments in our own country, perfectly understand that none of the outside credits will change life for the better unless the economy itself is up and running.

The only real way to help Greece is to support its producers. Buying Greek products and services will provide inflow of means that will be enough not only for recovery, but also for further economic development.

The KAΛAMATA Company had started importing Greek products back in 2010 when crisis was growing and a lot of importers began limiting their purchases in Greece to avoid of risks.  However our experience shows that neither Greek land nor Greek people who work on this land have changed with the crisis. Olive gardens continue to give an excellent crop, producers continue to deliver olive oil and olives of the highest quality. Not to let their work go to waste all the products should be bought by other countries that do not produce those products and therefore can benefit from their purchase.

And after all except olive oil and olives, Greece makes more many other qualitative products: real feta cheese, fresh and canned vegetables and fruit, wine, sweets, spices, cosmetics and many other things.

We, as the import company, are grateful to all government bodies, by the nature of the functions participating in regulation of foreign economic activities, for accurate execution of these functions and we ask to render special, even more sensitive attention and the help to all companies delivering to the country the Greek production that, at the same time, it is not less important and for domestic economy.

Crisis did not change the Greek beaches: crystal-clean sea, golden sand and shining Sun are still waiting for holidaymakers. All the historical sights remain open for tourists from all over the world. Citizens are also welcome: the Embassy of Greece makes its best to provide easy and comfortable visa issue.    

When consuming Greek products it is worth to remember about cultural values of this country: history, literature, music and language are capable of enriching each person spiritually. 

We are sure: everyone who has ever once visited Greece desire to support it in this hard time. And those who haven’t been there yet are divided on two groups. The first one is “ready to help” anyway. The other one “want to help” but did not guess about it yet.

From our side we have intentionally reduced our profit by brining down prices on Greek products to make them more affordable for consumers and thereby to increase their purchase.
